Diapers have gone green There is a new kind of cloth diaper that use water-resistant covers to prevent leaks and are designed to be as easy-to-use as disposable diapers.  Whiles these diapers cost $6 to $18 a piece, overall they will cost a parent $300. Disposable diapers generally have a cost of $3,000 per baby. (Time, January 21, 2008)

Buy goods labeled “post-consumer recycled content.”  The added words “post-consumer” means that the items are actually from the items that were recycled by you.  The word “recycled” is along the line of a food product being “fat free.”  It may be fat free but it’s got extra something.  Post-consumer recycled content is true green products.  (USA Weekend, February 15-17, 2008)
